About the Tournament
The Nathan Thomas 6 v 6 Fall Tournament, started by Laurelhurst resident Sue Ofstad the summer after Nathan died, gives young recreational teams in the Portland area an opportunity to compete in a competitive but friendly tournament. Over the years hundreds of children and adults have participated in the tournament as players and volunteers. This is more than a soccer tournament, it is a celebration of children, families and neighbors working and playing together with a shared community heart. All proceeds go to the fund.
Portland 6v6 Fall Classic
As of 2011, the tournament is known as the Portland 6v6 Fall Classic.
Getting involved
The tournament takes a lot of hard work from volunteers in the community. If you would like to help, send an email to: jtcoliver@gmail.com.
